| When I checked, it was already on that setting, so I changed it to use my default browser to see if that will solve the problem. It seems to me, though, that it's got to be somehow related to XP's security settings..... "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, sedmunds wrote: > > No I don't. | No I don't. I did set firefox to my default browser, though. Do you think that might have something to do with it? | I get the message when I go to Reports, Accounts, Bills, etc. I'm not accessing my bank from MSM5. If I download the file, it is saved with a ..surfplace extension. I can't get MSMoney registered as the file type to open that extension - it just won't do it if I try. I have tried your suggestions from your other post, still no help...... What kind of file do you get if you choose to Save it?> different tabs? Tabs? Are you using the browser in Money to go to your bank's website? Or do you get this when you go to the Account List or the Reports Gallery? - quote - > I have tried changing the internet options in ie to disable > prompts for file downloads, turned off the security center, tried changing > the file type (which "Surfboard Shim Doc Object View".......what is that?) to > open with money (which it refused to do) and with ie, which didn't help. |

| Is anyone else getting this message in Money 2005 when moving through the different tabs? I have tried changing the internet options in ie to disable prompts for file downloads, turned off the security center, tried changing the file type (which "Surfboard Shim Doc Object View".......what is that?) to open with money (which it refused to do) and with ie, which didn't help. I am about ready to get my money back........ |
