| BTW: you might want to use news:msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.money for better performance/less posting propagation delay. | You may not be doing anything wrong. Money is just incredibly lame sometimes about actually bothering to list everything that's legal and valid in the pulldowns. Try typing out "transfer:[name of escrow account]". Even if it's not in the list, it should allow it you to enter it by typing it out. | I'm using MS Money 2005 and have been following the posts for adding escrow to a mortgage but can't seem to get it to work the way I want. I setup an Asset account for the home and a Cash account for the escrow. So, I thought it would be fairly straightforward from here but not so. The principal and interest calculated correctly. I then chose the Other Fees button to add an additional amount for the transfer into the Escrow account. However, the category/subcategory list does not display any "Transfer To: " accounts. I also tried just selecting any expsnse category and then going back to edit it but the transfer accounts still didn't display. What am I doing wrong? This seemed to be the methods that were being suggested. |
