| Hi David, I had the same problem and solved it my putting one of my debts back into the plan, following the planner wizard through putting the minimum payment into the plan (using the slider), then on the bills page ticking for the planner to manage the bill. When it asked if I wanted to replace the existing bill I clicked no. Then I did what the other posters advise, the tools / options / planner / debt planner reset button. The egg timer appeared and it took a while, then the debt planner line was magically removed from my budget. The total didn't update until I went back into 'edit budget' from the budget page. Hope this helps, it was with Money 2003, |

| jony... thanks for the quick response... I still have the problem though... when I go into load details, it will not let me change the minimum and %. I even delete the bill in the calendar and it doesn't let me change... is there anything I can try, besides deleting the whole mortgage account "jony" wrote: - quote - > hi - i had a similar problem. turns out there was a minimum monthly payment > against the loan. i had to go to the debt planner - select the loan as if i > wanted to do a debt reduction plan on it - make sure that the minimum payment > % and amount are both set to zero. then move it back down to loans. > "David" wrote: > > I've read all the newsgroups and done everything possible, I think, to get my > > old debt reduction plan out of my budget. | hi - i had a similar problem. turns out there was a minimum monthly payment against the loan. i had to go to the debt planner - select the loan as if i wanted to do a debt reduction plan on it - make sure that the minimum payment % and amount are both set to zero. then move it back down to loans. | I've read all the newsgroups and done everything possible, I think, to get my old debt reduction plan out of my budget. I have no plan right now, but I still have a budgeted amount in the budget. I've done a reset debt plan, I've started over with a new budget, I've done almost everything I can think of, beside deleting the mortgage account... I cannot edit the category in the budget, because it is under the special group and I don't get an edit feature. Please help... I'm doing everything I know of to get this debt reduction plan, which doesn't exist, out of my budget. Thanks. |
