| I have this same problem. I use HSBC Bank and the integration is truly seamless. However, my credit card has a positive balance just like my checking account. This makes no sense on the Account List because it adds both together as my total account balance. There can't be any way that this is by design. Is there a patch for this? A workaround? Anything? | It's been asked hundreds of times: When I create a credit card account and begin to import statements, my accounts show up in the accounts list with positive balances. The result is an incorrect Total Account Balance. This is dumb ![]() Before someone flames me off the list, I have been googling this for some time now. I've read several pages worth of search results. The only thing that I see consistently (from a couple of MVPs and other frequent posters) is along these lines: "It's supposed to be like that. Look at the account detail, and you'll see the correct amount that you owe." This is all well and good, but so far I haven't found a single person who can explain to me why Money fails to correctly calculate the Total Account Balance which, as near as I can tell, is the entire purpose of the program. Does anyone else agree that the Total Account Balance is a useless figure if you have to manually calculate the *real* TAB from the *make believe* TAB every single time you use Money? Does anyone happen to know why this is the way that it is? My own problems aside, I'm really hoping that countless millions of development dollars weren't wasted because someone used a '+' instead of a '-'... Thanks, Joe |
