UpdatePrices-> UpdatePricesManually Select an investment from the drop-down list. Select the first "Online" price you want to get rid of and press the Delete key. Hold the key down to auto-repeat. Note that stock splits are also in this table. If you run into one, I think you will get a pop-up that will warn you about deleting the split. However since your settings may be different from mine, I cannot be sure. After deleting the prices for one stock, move on to the next using the drop-down list. To avoid unwanted file growth in the future, minimize the number of securities that you download quotes for. Also, when you first exit Money and look at the file size, don't expect to see an immediate improvement. Money does not compact the file until it feels like it. Let us know when that eventually happens what the results are... unless you backed out of this operation due to tedium. |
