| Hi Steve, Thanks for your comments. The dates problem were between the download and the on-line statements. The problem was when downloading February records for example, records on Feb 1st were been shifted to Jan 31st and this was messing up my monthly reports. Thanks for all the comments MKucho "Steve" wrote: - quote - > MKucho, > From your question, I assume that you have done automatic > downloads from your financial institution into Money. | MKucho, From your question, I assume that you have done automatic downloads from your financial institution into Money. You have then run statements in Money and are trying to compare the results with your bank statement that you got in the mail. Am I correct? If so, I must ask you what is the purpose of you using Money? The program has many abilities to help you manage your personal finances but this sort of use is meaningless. In order to benefit from using Money you must have some knowledge of finances and accounting and you must be able to think thru what you want Money to do for you. Worrying about the fact that the Money date is different than the bank date should be understandable to you given the mechanics of how the uploads work. Good luck to you. Steve |

(0000) of a timezone to the east of you. Money sees that time as the day before. At your end, you could work around this by setting your timezone to GMT before downloading, and changing your timezone back after processing. The ideal solutions would include your bank timestamping the transactions during working hours instead of midnight. This quirk is addressed in the OFX specification. Of course Money could have been designed to work around this by ignoring the time field, since it will not be maintaining a time value anyway. |

| One possible explaination is that one is the transaction date verses the date they posted it to your account. Another possibility is if you make a payment on a Credit Card (as an example), it can post to your Credit Card on one date and clear you checking account on another date. You would be changing the date on one side of the transaction. |

| I was downloading statements yesterday for the first time (I recently started to use MS Money) and the download was fast and I got all the information but the dates were different from the bank statements. For example, transations for January 4th was shown as January 3rd and so on. All the dates were changed. I checked the Regional settings but no luck. Can someone help ? Thanks MKucho |
