| Wally, Thanks for the suggestion. I was afraid that I would have to recreate my accounts -- basically start over. Before I do, I'll wait a couple of couple of days and see if anyone else may have successfully fixed the problem without reverting to what I consider to be the "next to last" resort. | Thanks for the suggestion. I should have mentioned that I've already given the quick and standard repair a try with no success. | I ran into this problem a while back using Money 2003. I had several customized investment reports in my list of Favourites and I had to recreate them several times. I have a large file of investment transactions and security quotes dating back to 1992. I tried the salvage utility with no success. I went back to some of my old investments and cleared out a bunch of old stock quotes that I no longer require. This seemed to solve the problem. I have since "upgraded" to M2005, and the problem has not reoccurred. At the time of the problem, I was so paranoid about ending up with an unusable Money file that I purchased Quicken 2005XG and converted my data (major headache!). I am currently running Money and Quicken side by side, but that's a whole other story. All this was done with Canadian versions of both programs. | I have been receiving an Error Message "Due to changes in your Money file, the saved version of the Money Auto-Saved Report" report is no longer valid. Money has attempted to reset this report, but you should delete it from your list of favorites and recreate it to avoid unreliable information." I've had this message come up over several months when entering transactions in Money 2004 and Money 2005. Anyone know how to fix this problem? BTW, I don't have any reports. Gary |
