You need to login, in Money, using the Passport you used to buy the version
online. Then Money will verify the license and quit saying Trial.

Next time, buy the CD. It's so much easier.

As little as possible.

File-> New-> NewFile
Filename: temp
Don'tBackUp (if asked).
Next
Accept.
Select I already have a Passport.
Enter Passport email address and password for the Passport you used
when you upgraded.
Next.
click SkipAccountSetup
click Finish
Help-> AboutMicrosoftMoney.

If it says "Version 14.0.*.1105" where * can be any number, you are
fine. If not, close Money and open it again to make sure you have
"Version 14.0.*.1105"

Then click File, and at the bottom of the list, choose your real
file. You can delete the empty temp.mny file if you like.

If things do not proceed as expected, let us know.

I'm not the most computer savvy. What am I putting in the new file?

Do something similar to, but not the same as
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;889930

In the resolution, create a NEW empty file (named perhaps Temp.mny)
that you put the referenced Passport onto. Restart the computer.

Confirm that Money shows the right version. Then click on your
real Money file that is shown on the bottom of the File menu.

Default Upgrade from trial to 2005

I just bought the full version online and downloaded it. I uninstalled the
trial version and installed the new. I start money and it downloads features
and tells me to restart. I do this and it goes back to the trial version.
What do I need to do to make it stop doing this?
