| No. I did get a call last week to close my case number; I called them back to reopen it. The poor guy that inherited my case tried all of the lame troubleshooting. He found that you cannot even set up a vanguard account directly in MSN. I get the same behavior one the software or without. They say there is a patch. I said to leave the case open. I have had zero enjoyment with this software upgrade; I will NOT forget this when 2006 comes out. I'll save my money and buy a FPS. No such luck; Ended up getting etherreal and sniffing the connection when the error messages come up; Sent the error log to MS, and they are going to release the patch in future fix..... just hasn't come in yet. I've tried w/ passport, w/out passport..... converted 2004 file, fresh 2005 clean install..... vanguard won't even set up when I go to MSN and create a new account from there.... What makes you are not? Are you referring to The Vanguard Group("Vanguard Group, The")? You cannot connect and get OFX data, I infer. I can. Perhaps you could create a new file without a Passport for experimentation. I've got an incident opened with MS, but they cannot commit to when it will be 'pushed' via the mind-wretching 'update' process. Does it take more noise from the masses? Please join in if you cannot get this to work correctly. Unbelievable that it worked for 2004 and not for 2005.... it isn't like Vanguard isn't one of the largest brokerages.
