I don't know of a fix, step-by-step, or otherwise. That's not to say there
isn't on; just that I don't know one way or the other.

Tough to say.

My first thought is to attack the file C:\Windows\System 32\Autoexec.NT. I'd
rename it out of the way so it didn't apply at all.
