| When you reinstall, I believe there is an option to sync data (and not overwrite the handheld data). I don't know of another way to fix the conduit without reinstalling. | My Palm had a fault which I've now cured but in the course of experimenting as to the cause I reinstalled the Hotsync. This has removed Ultrasoft from the list of packages to be synced. I've still got the intermediate file and have stuff on the Palm and on the PC that have not yet been synchronised, so don't really want to make any changes to the PC set up other than perhaps whatever registry or .ini file or other adjustment is required to force Hotsync to pick up Ultrasoft again in amongst Dates, To Do and so on. Ultrasoft's support could offer nothing better than reinstalling their Money synch software, even though that will wipe unsynched records from the Palm. Does anyone know Ultrasoft and Hotsync software better than Ultrasoft themselves do? Palm are traditionally useless at answering, or rather completely ignoring help requests, and answers may instead be found on the net, so does the same apply for this too ....? |
