| I think I got this fixed. I probably should have said that this account is a transfer from another institution. What I had done, was simply set up a new account for Scottrade and downloaded that activity, then deleted the old account. So I restored from a good backup yesterday, deleted the Scott account, set up the Scott account again, then CLOSED the other account. That let me transfer the assets to the Scott account. Now when I download statements, I don't continually get the statement to review from Scott. Don't know which of those steps was important, but it accomplished the objective I had. I click on that row and am taken to the "Review investment > holdings" screen. I see my two stocks and the only thing I can do is click > "finish" which I do, and am returned to the screen showing all accounts and > any unread items/statements. > I could do this process 1000 times in a row with the same results. See if this helps:> Whenever I download statements, I have two items for the account at Scottrade > even though the heading at the top of the page says "you have no unread > statements." I click on that row and am taken to the "Review investment > holdings" screen. What is > this process and how can I make it stop? In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. Then open Money with Start-> Run and entering "msmoney -s" without the quotes into the box. |

| I just opened an account at Scottrade and have two holdings in the account. Whenever I download statements, I have two items for the account at Scottrade even though the heading at the top of the page says "you have no unread statements." I click on that row and am taken to the "Review investment holdings" screen. I see my two stocks and the only thing I can do is click "finish" which I do, and am returned to the screen showing all accounts and any unread items/statements. I could do this process 1000 times in a row with the same results. What is this process and how can I make it stop? |
