| Cal raises a great point but maybe didn't emphasize it enough: of the three you mentioned ("ofx, ofc or even comma delited asccii files") only one, OFX, is in any way supported for data import into M05. Money 2005 will let you download OFX files, including with> currently I am evaluating the product. The errors are things like, file is > corrupted, file is not a win32 application, etc.... File-> Import. Money 2005 will not accept OFC. Money 2005, as well as earlier versions, do not accept comma-delimited ASCII. Stick to the OFX or QIF. - quote - > Is this due to this being a "Trial version" or should the "Trial version
This aspect should be identical.> work exactly like the actual product? |

| Did you do the Internet Update to get the latest patches? Not that they make M05 great or anything, but they do fix, apparently, the worst of the worst problems. Since you are evaluating M05, you might be interested in reading about what I found in my evaluation: http://umpmfaq.info/Money2005.htm. As always, YMMV. | Hello -- I have used MS Money 2004 and have loved it. I want to upgrade to 2005 and currently I am evaluating the product. I keep getting all sorts of errors when trying to download either the ofx, ofc or even comma delited asccii files into MS Money 2005 Deluxe. The errors are things like, file is corrupted, file is not a win32 application, etc.... Is this due to this being a "Trial version" or should the "Trial version work exactly like the actual product? Thanks, Dave.... -- David J. Foy |
