| You can choose in Options whether to have Money display the date that an epay is entered in your checkbook or is sent. I do the former because this is what we do with checks we write. (For those like me who enter checks when I write them; I bet a lot of folks download and use the bank's date, which is when they were processed!) Another thing I find, which I am not sure I have ever read, is that the Program will guess they will be processed on the next business day, say a Monday, and then later if it takes an extra day, it will update Money to show the new date of Tuesday. I end up with my epays out of sequence all the time due to this. Epay check 901 will be before Epay check 900 although I authorized 900 first and 901 next (both scheduled for Monday). Somehow 901 got sent first and on the next download this will be automatically corrected. | Now this is just weird. I closed Money and reopened it a little later and now the payment date is showing up in my register and not the processing date. Does anybody have any experience with this type of behavior? "Eric Koch" wrote: - quote - > This feature is just awful. | This feature is just awful. As a user, I can accept that I need to cancel "in advance" of the delivery date. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to manage account balances (and determine if you have enough money in there) when the date in the register is often a week in advance of when the debit will occur? Microsoft! Please change this back! |
