| I found the file with the mny extension. It walked me though the data transfer, said it would upgrade, keep the old version, said it was converting, but nothing is in Money 2003. Thanks |

| Copy the .MNY file directly to the JumpDrive and then copy it from the JumpDrive to the new system. Don't even mess with Money backups (.mbf) or whatever else you were messing with that generated .bak. In the future, please describe not just what you can't do, but why it didn't work. (I.e., include things like error messages and so forth.) | I can't get my backup file into Money 2003 from Money 1999. I transfered all the data to a JumpDrive. It has the ext. bak. I've put it on my C drive and tried to open it from there. I've been on the phone with Compaq for 3 hours and MSFT for 1. No one has been able to help me yet. I've upgraded before it shouldn't be this hard. Thanks |
