Can I down load M2004 trial, read & save to M2004 version. Then, reinstall
M2005 for update?

Have you got the M2005 upgrade that gives you version 14.0.x.1105?

If not load M2005, open the sample.mny file and wait for Money to download
the update.

NB once your file has been converted to M2005 it can't be read by M2004.
This is true of any two years of Money.
