| I have an auto-entered auto-transfer from checking to a brokerage account. I wanted to see a cash flow scenario where that got skipped this month. I tried editing the occurrence amount to $0. Money says "Automatic Entry transactions must have a non-zero amount." So I set it to $0.01. That makes Money perfectly happy, though in the real world it is no more or less sensible. Why? I'd love to think that MS has a rigorous process for software development wherein this validation is traceable to some documented requirement. I'd love to know what they thought the requirement was for this. I can enter $0 transactions in register until my fingers fall off. Why can't I schedule one? |
