Default Re: Sync Problems

Cal, I was saving the file prior to the import - I got the same message
either way. Thanks for your help.

After I got home from work, I went to my Credit Union's Website and
guess what ... OFX now works. I went to WAMU and guess what OFX now
works... All my Yodlee accounts a sync'd. Life is good, all is
wonderful. My transactions are split out amongst all the categories.
I've just won the Super Lotto! I love M$ Money!

Ah, but tomorrow is a different day. Where is that gun?

Cheers!

I am not familiar with that error message.

I suggest you save the credit union OFX file to disk first as *.ofx.
Then File-> Import the OFX file. Do you get an error when you import?

Default Sync Problems

Money Standard 2005 Current Version

I am a new to M$ Money having used Quicken since 1994. I was having
problems with Quicken 2005 (sound familiar?) and I thought I'd give
Money a try.

I did not convert my Quicken data as I was already in 2005. Thus all of
my history was imported using QIF extracts. The Direct Connect download
accounts work fine with the exception of Vanguard - the problem is with
Vanguard as their electronic statements to not match their website
balances or paper statements (no different then Quicken).

I seem, like most of you, to have problems with the Yodlee sync'd
accounts. As a new customer, I have never used MSN Bill Pay (I get
free from WAMU). Whenever some unknown behavior occurs, the login
information is lost for the Yodlee accounts. Although this is annoying,
I usually have no problem setting up the accounts - with the exception
of WAMU Checking and Target VISA. After several days of failure, I
logged into WAMU and was going to download the transactions via OFX. I
have modified the download so it prompts me to save the file as it is
being sent. I save the file and then open it and I get the DREADED
CALL ERROR message indicating I should call my Bank if the problem
persists. Okay fine, I download the transactions as a QIF and they
load.

My work Credit Union is not available through Yodlee, nor does it have
QIF as an option. It has OFX for both Money and Quicken as the files a
slightly different. When I download the Money OFX, I get the DREADED
CALL ERROR message blah, blah, blah....

So here is what I have tried:

I removed all reference to WAMU as the Financial Institution on my WAMU
Checking Account. I then tried to setup the sync via Yodlee - no
cigar. I then tried to OFX - no cigar. My next step was to do a Quick
Repair - no change in behavior. On my next step I did a Level 2
repair. This allowed me to setup the sync via Yodlee (also for the
Target VISA). Still no OFX for WAMU or my Credit Union.

One more thing, I do know that my OFX downloads have data.

Questions:

1) Are the any other steps I can take within Money?
2) Is there are setting I might need to change within my firewall or
somewhere else on my computer?
3) Without calling M$, is there a way to open a Trouble Ticket on this?
(Yeah, sure....)

Thanks in advance for your help.
