There is a software switch you could use: -s It will cause the database to resync. It is not normal to run that each time you start, but it could be done. Also, if you had files that ran on different versions of money, you could use a shortcut that had the full path to the particular Money version as well as specifying the filename. |

Yea, I just did that, and of course it works. | Why not simply create shortcuts to each of your actual data files. msmoney.exe is registered to run .mny files, so if you double click a .mny file (or its shortcut) Money will start with that file. -Mark "Joseph Meehan" <sligojoe_Spamno[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:x5JOd.260$Cs5.39[at]fe2.columbus.rr.com... - quote - > It would appear that Money has the capability to start up with different > files depending on the start up string used. | It would appear that Money has the capability to start up with different files depending on the start up string used. I have two different files (accounts) a personal account and a club account. I would like to be able to chose which one will open when I start MS Money 2005. The start up string appears to be MYPATH\msmoney.exe","","",0 That would tend to indicate I can pass several parameters at the start up. Does anyone know the syntax? While I am there how about the other parameters; there seems to be about 4 available? -- Joseph Meehan 26 + 6 = 1 It's Irish Math |
