| Thank you, Gary. I had tried looking for that FAQ earlier about the trial version and didn't know where it was. You've answered my question. Thank you again. | I have been a user of Microsoft Money since 2002, and after downloading the trial version of M05, there is no sound whatsoever. I would go to Tools, click on Settings, then click on the Program Settings and then the "Change Sounds" button to find out if the sounds are still there. After clicking on the "Sounds" tab in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window, I would scroll down the "Program events" and find the sounds listed for Microsoft Money. But when I try to click on any of those sounds, I would get the following message: "Windows cannot find the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Money\MNYCoreFiles\sounds\(name of sound file).wav." Is there any reason why that is? Is it because the version of Money I have is just a trial version? Also, I tried downloading the registry information provided by Brent in his earlier post, and nothing happened. Any help provided in this matter will be most greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
