If you have a backup file, yes you could try that. I assume you've tried a
reinstall of Money too?

Thanks for the advices. I tried both. The Salvage option itself did not throw
any error message and lead me to the Money directly and I saw the same error
message - I have no choice but close the application. I also downloaded the
Super Salvage application and the log says 'no broken records'. However, when
I tried to open the new Money file created by the previous repairing process,
I got the same error message.

I remember I was doing something in one of the investment accounts the last
time when I used Money. Will this cause some 'divided by zero' error?

How can I proceed further to solve this issue? Can we somehow delete or back
out the last few transactions in the money file?

Have you tried a repair on the file, and/or a salvage?

Default Error

Hi,

I am using Money 2001. Do not exactly know why, but today when I try to open
Money, it throws an error 'Money has caused an error in TAXUTIL.DLL. Money
will now be closed.' And it will no longer allow me to enter. I have been
using Money since 2001 and this is the first time I got this type of error.
Any expert out there know what went wrong and how can I get around this
problem?

Thanks in advance.
