| Maybe, but not unless you provide a lot more information to guide the process. What issues? What do you mean "not reading the file"? What are you trying to do? File|Restore? File|Open? How did you move your file to the new machine? Burn a CD? Backup floppies? USB Thumb Drive? Network? What file type? (.MNY, .MBF?) Are you getting error messages? What are they? Data error reading? Incompatible Versions? File is not a Money file? File is read only? You might also want to read http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=68. | OK - actually it is Money 99 Standard. Now I just installed Money 99 and it isn't even letting me open the file in that! I have a good 2-3 years of data on there and I really don't want to lose it. Any ideas? Jackie "Jackie" wrote: - quote - > I have Money 98 on my old computer and want to transfer that data over to my > new computer which has Money 2005. Why am I having such issues? | I have Money 98 on my old computer and want to transfer that data over to my new computer which has Money 2005. Why am I having such issues? It basically is not reading the file. Can someone walk me through this? Thanks, Jackie |
