First check to insure that when you do Help-> About, the version is> Money.M10 created with 2002. when I try to open it, I am told that I need > 2002 to open it. 14.0.*.1105. I think you are saying you have a *.mbf file that you created with Money 2002. Open the Money 2005. Do File-> Restore, and choose that *.mbf file. During the restore process, do not have Money put the file into its "default" location. Instead *browse* to you My Documents folder and specify a name for the restored file. - quote - > in order to put 2002 on my Pc I need to remove 2005, if I

| I had Money 2002, I just went to 2005, I need to open a backup file MS Money.M10 created with 2002. when I try to open it, I am told that I need 2002 to open it. in order to put 2002 on my Pc I need to remove 2005, if I remove 2005, I am told I cannot open files saved in 2005 with previous versions. God I hate this stuff, if i remove 2005, install 2002 and restore this .M10 file to 2002 then install 2005 convert the file in question, will I risk my existing 2005 saved and backed up Money files? |
