Have you tried plugging your USB flash drive in?

Default RE: Auto Back Up other than FDD

I think you can also go to File, Backup, and browse to the drive you want to
save to (CD or USB flash for instance). However, this will then be the
default location for the backup on exit next time you run it, so before
exiting next time, do the File, Backup, and browse to Hard Drive location and
leave it that way for next few uses so it will do the autobackup to your hard
drive.

Still seems odd that Microsoft doesn't provide an option to alter the
default location for external backup from floppy to something more
contemporary, CD or USB flash drive.

You need to backup to hard disk and then use CD writing software to write to
the CD. It is an operating system function not Money.

To restore a .mbf file from the hard disk use File > Restore (Backup) from
within Money.

Default Auto Back Up other than FDD

When I shut the program down I get the "Back Up to FDD" prompt but I want to
back up to CD.
Can this be done ?
The 'Options' button only then gives me the choice to auto back up to FDD
with a 'save in' option only of Removable Disk - (A witha scroll down of
nothing else . How do I get it to go to a CD?

And the files that are auto backed up to HDD - how do I restore these? as I
can see the format is specific to the Money 2001.

Cheers
Mike
