Do something similar to, but not the same as
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;889930

In the resolution, create a NEW empty file (named perhaps Temp.mny)
that you put the referenced Passport onto. Restart the computer.

Confirm that Money shows the right version. Then click on your
real Money file that is shown on the bottom of the File menu.

Default Money 2005 Premium deleted

I used Money 2004 Premium and updated from the Microsoft web site two weeks
ago to Money 2005 Premium. Paid by credit card etc. And it worked fine. I
had done a few things like click the link for the schedule D gainskeeper
download stuff. I hadn't rebooted for several weeks but did so today and
Money apparently disappeared. When I invoke it I get the trial version.
