| It is a waste of $$ to upgrade from 2004 to 2005. When I merged the two accounts (original and the new one newly downloaded), all my old transactions are erased. Only the new transactions from the new download are kept. So what the benefits of merging??? This may be bank specific (BofA). Only the transactions from the current month are kept. I do not know... I'm going back to Money 2004...... Time to send the new one back..... On the left side of the Account List, click MergeDuplicateAccounts.> covered, and this is a good thing. I think it may be that you can loose older transactions from the new account, but not from the older existing account. |

| Just upgraded from Money 2004 to Money 2005 for business. More banks are covered, and this is a good thing. But when I set up the online services (both new and old), new accounts are created and there is no option to match the new account with my existing account. So I'll have to close my existing account and accept the new account. This way, I lost my current register and have to start over again. This is such a pain. I do not know if it is worth the upgrading..... Comments? |
