| Greg, I depends on your goals with investments. 401(k) aside, for any investment if it important to you to know the true rate of return over time from you first investment, you will need the history and buy/sells. I am a new Money user and I want this this history so I am in the process of capturing this for all my investments including my 401(k). I have one investment that goes back to 1976. If you don't need that detail and just need a starting point, you can start with the balance from your first download. |

| Hi, Can anyone explain if there is any benefit with tracking the changes in a 401k investment? Is it just easier to start one from today's prices and positions or is there any advantage to entering each buy, sell, dividend etc..... Thank You in advance for any assistance you can provide. Greg |
