At the bottom of the list of Payees, there is a "Move" button. |

Nevermind. I'm dense. |

The first step is the only one that you really need, but the others> When I eventually download that transaction, M04 will automatically > change the Payee to my power company. Record the Payee Name Variation(s) shown for your power company. Delete the entries that are not necessarily your power company. Then click on GoToPayeeRulesManager. Excluded Payee Names identifies words and phrases that should be ignored from the payee field (e.g., check, deposit). Consider adding each word or phrase that were listed as a Payee Name Variation that you recorded. While you are at it, it is usually a good idea to select Tools-> Options-> OnlineServices-> ReplacePayeeNames.... The thing that may well help you is to set Tools-> Options/Settings-> OnlineServices-> ShowStandardizedPayeeNames to combine payees that differ only by a number or punctuation. This may work better after you have combined payees from previous downloads using Move. You may want to set Tools-> Options-> OnlineServices-> AddADescriptionToTheMemoField |

| I occasionally go to a particular ATM to make a withdrawal. When I eventually download that transaction, M04 will automatically change the Payee to my power company. The first time it happened, I called my power company and asked them why they charged me $40. But they didn't - M04 simply made the change. When I go onto my bank's website, there's nothing in transaction that seems to suggest my power company. M04 simply seems to be changing it for me. This happens every single time I w/draw from a particular ATM. Every other ATM shows up as a normal w/drawal. Is there a way to get it to stop doing this? |
