 Re: sync w/bank but not MSN server? The simple answer is yes, if the bank supports it directly. Don't sign up with a Passport, just try to set up online banking with your bank. | Re: sync w/bank but not MSN server? Sync-with-the-web referred/refers to the sync-with-MSN Money web stuff so you can see some of your data from any browser, which is what you don't want to do. Cal notes the ways to use non-Yodlee FI downloads. I don't have a Passport on my file, and I download. In addition, many banks offer OFX download via their website. That is rather easy to use too IMHO, but others think otherwise. I have not listed those, although I would not rule out a bank that offered that for my own use. Even if you mean OFX download without dealing with a web site, the answer will depend. Switching banks is actually not hard, as long as you don't have a lot of auto-pay arrangements set up. Again, many banks offer OFX download via their website. That is rather easy to use too IMHO. I only listed direct OFX access between your computer to your bank's/broker's servers. |
