| I believe it just hides it. If you want to remove it then you might need to export your accounts and then import them into a clean file. That'll definitely remove the information. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | But will it remove all that business related Money data from the file in a "pure" conversion process or does it just ignore the business data in the Money file? I am looking for a process to totally remove/convert the file from a Money Deluxe/Business file to just a pure Deluxe file. I don't need the functionality of going back to the Business version of Money anytime down the road. I have a lot of business data within the data file that I want to be removed during the conversion process to make the data file more streamlined to only the personal data aspect associated to Money in the form of Money Deluxe or Money Premium. Please advise. Thanks. "Bob Peel MVP" wrote: - quote - > Yes it will convert OK, you get a warning that "this file has been used in a > business package and you will lose that" (or similar). | Yes it will convert OK, you get a warning that "this file has been used in a business package and you will lose that" (or similar). I can't remember what happens to business only accounts. I guess they are carried forward unless you delete them, but I think you might need to keep that info around for some years for audit purposes. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | I have Money 2003 Deluxe & Business which in the beginning I used to manage some aspects of my business. Since I have stopped using Money for my business and just use Money for my personal finance aspects. My question to everyone is does Money 2005 Premium or Deluxe convert the original 2003 Deluxe & Business data file into just a standard file without all the Business data? I don't need any of that business related data going forward and don't want my money file to continue to carry that bloat if it is not required or a way to remove it during the conversion/upgrade process. Thanks and any help is appreciated. |
