| I don't have a problem with help being online, or the updates, but it should be when I want to go online. A lot of times I just have to do money stuff "Bob Peel MVP" <Bob_Peel[at]kiandraNOSPAM.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:uK9gJWUBFHA.1404[at]TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... - quote - > Trouble with that is MS have decided to keep, for example, Help on-line. Sure they can, just like any other program update. But, beyond that, I think it's a waste for it to update stock prices or whatever it is doing every time you open Money. Especially if you aren't watching any stocks, currencies, etc. -- Tony Lowe, The HapMaster What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about? |

| Trouble with that is MS have decided to keep, for example, Help on-line. I suppose it makes sense, as MS can, theoretically, make amendments to Help, that they can't do when Help is only on your PC. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | When I start MS Money 2005 Delux, it tries to log on to the internet. I turned off everything I can see and it still does it. When I stop the dialer, "work offline" is checked under FILES but the next time I start it, it does it again. I don't want money to log me on every time I bring it up. MS Money 2003 didn't do this.....thanks in advance Rich |
