The Asset Account it tied to the Loan Account, though it doesn't really matter all that much. The payment will eb Money Loan Payment special category, which transfers the principal portion to the Loan Account to reduce your liability and expenses an Interest Expense portion. It can also transfer money to a Cash Account representing a real world Escrow Account. Money will work better and produce more sane reporting and so forth if you> ie; > would a visa payment from a savings account be a transfer? use Transfer (or variants like Loan Payment and Credit Card Payment) whenever you are moving money from a cash account you have represented as an Account in Money to a liability account you have represented as an Account in Money. | Hi,,, Ive been using money for about 5 years now and find it a great program ,,, Although I'm not sure if I prefer the recent 2005 or the 1999 version ,, anyway i'm sticking with the 2005 version and getting quiete proficient with it.
