It is possible to remove payees from the payee list (purely by deleting
them), but this doesn't remove transactions from them. A way of getting the
deleted payee back is to create a new transaction with a similar name, then
use find/replace to replace the name of the old payee to the new one. Then
rename the new one to the old one's name and finally delete the temporary
transaction you made in the first place.

Try renaming the Payee, maybe that will fix what's wrong with the name and
cause it to show up in the list. Make sure there's no special characters in
the name.

Money 2005 Prem. does not show a payee that I need to access when I
access the payee list by clicking on the Payees icon. Money also does
NOT let me create a new payee with the same name by saying that a
payee with this name/name variation already exists. But that payee is
NOT visible in Payee list or the name variations list. I make sure
that I am looking at a list of ALL payees when I am doing this.

There is however, one way to see that payee. If I go from the left
hand pane on Bills/Deposits page > Other Tasks> See Payee Details. The
missing payee is very much there.

The problem is that I cannot generate a report on this payee, and
cannot create a new transaction on this payee because it does not
appear in the drop down list of payees.

Any Ideas?
