| Cal: Thank you for the great idea. Having the same problem. since you volunteered, need that integer ration. fund X = 675.157 shares new fund Y = 753.190 shares. Any help would be appreciated on the best integers to use. I can come close, but real interested to see what you come up with. thanks again in advance! Example" 'X' with 1000 shares to be renamed mutual fund 'Y'> How do I enter the transaction? > I cannot use the "special activity" - "merger" window because when I try it > says the items have to be stocks (I guess it does not consider mutual funds > as stocks). with 700 shares 1. Do a 7 for 10 split of X. 2. In the investment details, change the symbol of X to the symbol for Y. 3. Change the investment name of X to Y. 4. Add a brief comment to the investment to explain the change. If the ratio is not as simple as 7 for 10, post the actual ratio you are trying to achieve. I can easily find the best integers (1 ... 65535) to enter for the split. |

| I have Money 2004 and one of my mutual funds was bought by a new mutual fund. How do I enter the transaction? I cannot use the "special activity" - "merger" window because when I try it says the items have to be stocks (I guess it does not consider mutual funds as stocks). |
