Nope. (Actually, the DRP can do this, but not in any generally useful way
and certainly not to the point of entering a predicted number.)

Ok. I will enter each as a charge manually. But there is no way for Money
to estimate the Monthly interest owed like in a Mortgage?

It's got to get added to the liability somehow. Typically this is with a
transaction that looks a lot like any other charge.

Don't they call it an "interest charge"? You can categorize it as
Interest. Then you can customize a report to exclude the Interest
category if you like.

I think every transaction in a credit card account is either a
charge or a credit.

I am using the Advanced Register. I just don't know if it whouls be a
charge. But I will attempt to enter them manually.

Well, if it's showing up as a charge, what more were you wanting? It should
get categorized as something like Interest Expense:Other Interest. As to the
Bills issues, I'm wondering if you are in Essential * mode--if so, I can't
help much as I don't use M05 in general and won't use Essential * mode in
specific.

Well, it shows up as a charge, I don't know if that would affect the budget
planning etc or something else. It isn't a purchase or charge, just a
monthly interest.

I can't get the Payment frequency and next payment date to be active
either. They are grey'd out.

If the bank isn't downloading these transactions, then manual entry would
seem to be the only other option.

Default Can Money 2005 calculate interest charges with credit accounts?

I have a credit card account and although my bank lists the monthly interest
charges, M05 only downloads the transactions. Can Money automatically take
into account for these? My balance is off because it is not adding the
monthly interest charges. Do I just need to manually add these each month?
