More on Cash Flow problem.

The account where the deposit is scheduled for is an Investment account. I
do this exact thing in M2004. Is there something special I have to do in
M2005 to have cash deposits/withdrawals from Investment accounts tracked in
the Cash Flow?

Thanks....

Thanks for the input.

Now I have discovered another problem. Some scheduled bills appear in the
budget but do NOT appear in the cash flow.

The budget problems I can probably live with, but I rely quite heavily on
the cash flow projections.

In M2004 and earlier I never did much with the budget functions, but I did
the Cash Flow projections. Are there any known Cash Flow problems in M2005
that you are aware of.

I tried searching the MSKB but came up without anything regarding cash flow
in Money.

Thanks....

The Money budget has bugs which are not as easy to "fix" as actual data. What I
do is to take the bug problem into consideration "in my mind" when viewing
comparisons and I don't spend a bunch of time trying to make the budget
"right". It just is not worth it. If you started a new budget and the scheduled
item which you deleted already still shows up, then its a bug. Maybe someone
else has a solution. I am much more concerned with actual data being right than
so called projected data such as a budget. Good luck. Steve

I did as you suggested and reentered the bills/deposits so they would all be
tracked in my budget.

Now I have another problem.

I have one scheduled bill that no matter what I do I cannot get rid of it
from the budget.

When I delete in the Bills window it deletes normally. When I check Cash
Flow it is gone but it stays in my budget.

I have edited the budget to delete the category but it still shows up in the
annual budget view. I have deleted the existing budget and created a new
one and the that pesky bill pops up again even though it is not scheduled.

If I reenter a bill for the same category the new amount is added to the old
amount from the original scheduled bill I have deleted.

I've done the file repair, no problems found.

Do you have suggestions?

Thanks.....

If it is really important to you to have the information the way you want it in
the Money budget, why not delete and reenter the items and get it right. The
time you waste trying to get an answer to a short cut you could have the
problem resolved. Remember, this program does NOT do everything you may want
"automatically". Good luck. Steve

Default Adding categories to budget

Money 2005

I created some entries in the Bills/Deposits area. When entering them I
didn't include some categories that I want to track in my budget that now I
want included.

Short of deleting and reentering the items how do edit them so they are
included in the budget?

Thanks
