I installed Money 05 on 12/1, I set up my bank accounts etc, downloaded my
transactions etc. Everything worked fine until 12/5 when I started getting
errors whenever I updated my accounts. I clicked on "Learn More" and it says
"updates are temporarily unavailable". Okay fine, i let it go. Well, it's
now a month later and it's still happening. So I start looking through this
newsgroup trying to find out why. Didn't find anything useful.

Then it dawned on me that everytime I opened Money it needed some stupid
..net password. Something I never understood, but I thought I'd go to MSN and
see if I could find anything there. Plucked around until I found the Money
section, noticed a "MY Accounts" shortcut, then about crapped my pants when I
saw my bank accounts with my current balances ON SOME FRICKING WEB SITE!!!!

I didn't know what to do, still don't. My first thought was, "Is this even
legal!?" Then it was, "When did I ever O.K. this?"

My nerves have been on edge all day. When I finally got home tonight the
first thing I started doing was trying to find out how to end this and end it
soon! After looking around I think I've discovered the following:

You cannot update Money 05 from your bank without it posting to msn money.
Apparently it updates msn money, then downloads from there. I may not be
overly bright but I'm pretty sure I WAS NOT informed of this when I setup my
bank accounts. Downloading MY bank transactions from My bank account to MY
computer with MY copy of Money 05 isn't even possible.

How do I get rid of this? How in the hell do I get my account transactions
off of msn money?!

How come my transactions can be updated on msn but not in the damn program
I'm using to update them with!?!?

Why is it that when it supposly updates my transactions, it tells me
"Updates are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Oviously the
aren't unavailable, they are right there on msn!

How in the hell do I get my $90 back?

Who in their right mind would want this?

I've always been a fan of MS stuff until this. I swear I will never buy
another MS product as long as I live. This disgust me beyond belief.
