| I think it happens (at least in 2005) because 2005 overwrites whatever is there. Earlier versions of Money respected your manual entry. Two ways to get around - first, remove the symbol so you don't get an online price, or use the hack. MS do know about this one though, I can't see any logic in overwriting one's own transaction details. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Glyn, thanks. That was a little cumbersome, but it worked perfectly. It seems like this happens because the automatic price updates occur before any new transactions are downloaded. Hence the "online" price gets into the database before the "Buy" price, every time. Going forward, any ideas on how to get the "buy" price in first? I guess I could turn off the automatic price update feature. "Glyn Simpson, MVP" wrote: - quote - > It depends on what is appearing in it's place. I would guess an 'Online' > entry would be there. | It depends on what is appearing in it's place. I would guess an 'Online' entry would be there. The easiest way to get them showing for all transactions is to manually delete the 'online' entry and then go to the transaction in question, and put a couple of spaces after the price and just enter the transaction again (you might not even have to change it, maybe just re-enter it). This seems to write the 'Buy' label again. Actually, you might not even need to delete the 'Online' in the first place... -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | I need to mention that I'm using Money 03. Does M05 work differently? Thanks. "BruceK" wrote: - quote - > I notice that in some cases, a "BUY" will be indicated on the price history > chart for a given mutual fund. But not all of them. What should I do to make > them all show up? > Thanks. |

| I notice that in some cases, a "BUY" will be indicated on the price history chart for a given mutual fund. But not all of them. What should I do to make them all show up? Thanks. |
