| I noticed the same thing. Yodlee had the largest number of FI's, MS Moneycentral had the second largest, and finally Money 2005 has the smallest group. It did appear that during the FALL the list of available banks within Money 2005 changed on about a monthly basis. Looks like it is a database parameter within the support for Money 05. I however can not guess when they will add some of the ones that are missing. In one case it was listed on the Money 05 supported FI list and then removed. | I am begining to explore the world with Yodlee. I did the check to see if MS Money supports the banks, credit cards, and investing institutions. Some are there and others are not. In the mix of the excitement I added a few of my banks and investing accounts to MSN Money. I have installed the MS Money 2k5 trial and when creating a new file I had M05 download from my MSN account. The M05 has all of my bank accounts but the investing account does not synch. In MSN Money it works fine. Now, this is what I find weird. If I use MS Money 2k5 and add an Investing accoun the same account that works in MSN Money. The company does not show up in the investing list in MS Money 2k5!! But if I use MSN Money I can add the account and then it shows up in MS Money 2k5 but it does not access the account. There is a SERIOUS difference in the supported lists between MSN Money and MS Money 2k5. I think I will take a guess at this. MS Money will copy the account information from MSN Money and put it into MS Money. But this does not mean MS Money supports all of the banks in MSN Money. This is diceving when useing the web "tool" to see if MS Money 2k5 supports a bank. What is the trend with MS Money 2k5? Will it auto update to support the same banks as MSN Money or will this be slated for MS Money 2006 and later?!? If that is the case then I find myself no longer compelled to purchase MS Money 2k5. If MS Money 2k5 and MSN Money support the same banks using Yodlee why do the lists not match?!? Why does half of the accounts from MSN Money not work in MS Money 2k5? How might I fix this? -Thank you.. happy new year!!! |
