The Business version is pretty much a superset of Deluxe and
Premium. So what you would probably do is to have two files--
business and personal.

The one difference may be that you will have to specify a category
for a transaction. I am not sure. The regular versions let you leave
the category blank.

Default RE: Personal vs Business??

Hello Pat,

Based upon the possibility of using Money for a business application, I
would purchase the Small Business Version. If you search the WWW, you can
purchase the SB version for only $10 more than Deluxe and still get a $30
rebate!

The SB version provides capabilities for Accounts Receivable and Payable
plus even Payroll. For just $10 more, that is a great deal!

In any case, Money Standard, Deluxe and SB will handle multiple "sets of
books" like personal and business.

Default Personal vs Business??

What to do? If I'm an employee tracking my personal finances I can easily
see using the basic Money programs. If I'm running a small business I can
see using Money for small business. The question is....[since I don't yet
own the small business version]...will I also be able to manage my personal
finances along with my business finances with the small business version of
Money or do I have to use both, somehow???
