| Thanks Cal; due to some other problem on my computer, Javascript often doesn't work, so clicking on Contact Us did nothing. But I was able to contact someone online. Here's what her "resolution" was: Use "quick file repair". If that doesn't work (it didn't), use "standard file repair". If that doesn't work (it didn't), check Sample.mny to see if it happens there. It didn't, which she said meant my file was corrupt. So... Export all the accounts, then import them into a new Money file and recreate anything that can't be exported/imported. At the end, she added "I understand the method is a *LITTLE* time-consuming. However, it is the best method at present. Your patience and cooperation on this is highly appreciated." (emphasis added by me) All that just because ONE REPORT doesn't appear?!? My solution: Make a new favorite titled "Transactions by Category". I'm just a little hesitant because if the file is indeed "corrupt", will I have more problems later on? Should I do the import/export work and essentially start over not so much to fix the one little report, but to have a "good" money file in general? What would any of you do? | Hi all-- I've been using Money a number of years - just upgraded from 03 to 05 about a week ago. I've having problems with some of the reports. Specifically, on "Reports Home" page when I click on "Transactions by Category", there's a real quick flash, like it's going to the report, but then the window goes back to showing "Reports Home". A similar thing was happening with one of my "favorite" reports - I ended up going in to Organize Favorites, selecting the non-appearing report and clicking Customize. Then I saw that there were no categories selected anymore (have no idea how that happened!). So once I reselected my categories, the report appeared when I clicked on hte name from Reports Home. This makes me think maybe something similar happened with the Trans by Cat report, but since it's a "generic" report, not a favorite, I don't know how to get into it to check its settings without first clicking on it and THEN picking customize from the left area...
