Default Re: M03 -VS- M05

Unless getting the downloaded data from your credit union, via Yodlee, with
the number of limitations and conditions that entails, is a very important
thing to you, I would not advise M05. For your use as described, M05 adds
essentially nothing else and does so at significant cost in other baggage.
See http://umpmfaq.info/Money2005.htm.

Default M03 -VS- M05

I am a currenty user of M03 and it works OK in most respects. While
looking into an upgrade to M05 offering, I see that my Credit Union is
(finally) listed as being available online, but there is a note that
I need to have M05 to use it. Looking through this newsgroup (what I
get of it -- my retention is low) I see there are some who are "less
than impressed" with M05. Can anyone outline what is so wrong with it
so I can determine if it is worth an upgrade?

I have used M03 primarily to track checkbook and credit card
activities, but I want to now expand and use it for budgeting, online
banking and tracking my meager portfolio of a pair of 401Ks and a
couple of separate IRAs. WIll M05 be up to this task? I am not
particularly concerned with changes to how Money does things because
as I said, I am not currently using it to its' fullest capabilities
anyway.

TIA,

Steve
