At least not the explicit one in the EULA. There probably is an implicit one
as the people downloading quotes from M97 found out last year--when
Microsoft breaks it, they won't care to fix it.

I really never looked at using a standalone web version of MS Money until
now. I like the fact that my data is backed up real time and offsite and
that I don't have to worry about a hard drive crash or something stupid
corrcupting my 27MB *.mny file. I would get that with the MSN version.
However, I'm not sure if all of the same features that are in the PC
version are in the web version.

Why do you want to upgrade? If you're happy with 2002, then i'd stick with
it. You don't have the online services policy to worry about on that
version.

Default MSN Money feedback

I'm seriously looking at an alternative to upgrading to MS Money 2005 due
to this group's comments on the product. I started looking at MSN Money at
http://moneycentral.msn.com which appears
at first glance to be a complete web-based version of MS Money 200x. Is
this true? Does anyone have any experience using this portal as a
complete standalone financial management tool?

I know the cons would be that the data is not located on my PC but in some
MS data wharehouse, but that doesn't bother me. I'm cursious if this
portal has all of the payees, categories, accounts and robustness of MS
Money for a PC. I tried looking for some help and couldn't find it and
didn't want to create an account so I don't screw up my current
information in Money 2002.

Any feedback would be great. Also, what about costs? Is this portal
absolutely free considering I don't make any trades or purchase credit
reports, etc? Also, can I completely upload my data in my M02 *.mny file
to this portal?

Thanks,
Bob
