Money 2000 was the last true Canadian version, all others have been hybrids
of the U.S. version with little to any Canadianization to speak of.
Apparently it takes too much work to change the references in the help file
to attempt to explain the differences, it just says Canadian settings may
be different without so much as to explain what those are. Use IRA for the
RRSP/RRIF.

Default Canadian investment types?

I just purchased 2005 CDN edition to upgrade from the 2003 "international"
edition that came with MS Works. I'm trying to set up a retirement account
(both RRSP and RRIF), but the only options presented are US-based investment
options (401k, 403b, IRA, Keogh, etc).
I just phoned the Canadian support number, and they told me that I'll just
have to try to figure out which US account type will mimic the Canadian
account type I'm trying to set up.
Is this true? If so, then what, exactly, is so Canadian about the Canadian
version?
