I don't run the business version. But what you describe sounds right> Deposit to: revenue account > Amount : 95.31 > Category is split over the following two fields > a). Revenue category > b). Transfer from : sales tax account > A couple of questions. > In the Revenue Account lisitng, the depsoit still says I received 95.31, > although in the salex tax account it says there is -5.31. Deposit to: revenue account Amount : 95.31 Category is split over the following two fields a). Revenue category b). Transfer from : sales tax account A couple of questions. In the Revenue Account lisitng, the depsoit still says I received 95.31, although in the salex tax account it says there is -5.31. I suppose these two lines cancel each other out, but is this how it should look. Is there a way to have just the 90.00 show up in the "received" column of the reveue account? Thanks for your help, please continue to assist |

| Is it possible in Money 2005 to do the following: Let say for example that I receive a payment for $90.00, and there is 5.9 percent tax on that item. The total purchase price is 95.31. In stead of having the entire 95.1 go into one account, I want the 90.00 to go into a different account then the 5.31. You can do something like this with Spliting the account, but that only works for the categories, I want the entire deposit to be split between the two accounts. Is there a way to do this? |
