Just wanted to confirm that I'am expierencing the same issue. And
believe it's a bug as well.
But looks to me then that we should follow up with Microsoft and not
Bank of America.

Perhaps they are trying to tell you that all of the problems people were
reporting with M05/Yodlee/BofA are Just Too Hard To Fix?!?!?!

Yes. I have 2 machines with Money 2005 on it. One version is updated and
does not list BofA, the pre-update version however does list BofA California.

Thanks Graham for staying on topic.

Thanks everyone else for telling me I can disable passport and not use
online banking???

From what this looks like it's not a passport problem, he stated he is using
passport. He stated it's a direct link banking issue so lets keep this on
subject.

Why would his bank be listed on
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx but not availble when looking
up inside Money 2005? I tried to add a new banking account in Money 2005
myself and Bank of America - California is not listed, so there is an issue
here.

onetonson, were you able to contact the Online Services department of Bank
of America? Maybe they changed their online offerings, doubtful but possible?

The wording on that page starts "Many of the online features in
Microsoft Money require you to use Microsoft .NET Passport sign-in
information. Read the description below, and then click Accept or
Decline."

The question's answers are Accept and Decline. Accept says use
Passport, and Decline says do not.

It is possible to remove a Passport from a file later.

I have never used passport and won't. You have to be on the ball when
installing M2005 as the "Do you want to go-online" question, if I recall
correctly, is the one that means "Do you want to use Passport".

I use 2005 and you can't escape the passport authentication. You need to use
this just to open the file (minus command line switches). This smells a lot
like a update bug. Basing this on no communication from BofA stating any
change is upcoming.

Thanks

It says for Bank of America (California)

"Direct Services* are the fastest, easiest way to connect with your
financial institution and have your statements automatically
downloaded into Money directly from your financial institution.

* This service is only available if you have Microsoft Money 2005.
You will need to use Microsoft .NET Passport in order to access your
account information."

I am having difficulty interpreting that.
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/featur...fid=1861604902
would give one meaning, but I think the implication is that you
would be going thru Yodlee.

Did you use Passport before, and are you using Passport on your file
now? If so, and you cannot get your transactions, I would suggest
you call BofA or Microsoft.

It still says Bank of America (California) uses direct access? This has to
be an update issue.

Thanks

Remeber I could access it with Money 2005 last week?
Are you saying that Money no longer supports direct connection with Bank of
America?
Is Bank of America saying this? I didn't get the memo.

on your file. Perhaps somebody familiar with that bank will be able
