One thing would then be to reinstall Money into a different folderon that problem computer. |

| Hey all - I've had the same problem, just started this early AM, worked fine last night. I'm on WinXP with MS 2005. Once starting after login with passport, system uses 100% CPU and then opens home page and then immediately closes. Did all of the above solutions except reinstall...no success....but: TEMP SOLUTION: The problem only occurs when you start up MSMoney 05 into Home page. Once it loads this, immediately as fast as possible click on the Portfolio Icon to instead open to this...it will and is stable, from there go to Options and select Accounts as the opening page...this resolves the problem, but if you click on Home your program will immediately shut down. Very strange. Anyhow, I'll be interested to see what better solution come up (or you can see my permenant fix below -- which I've now done). I've been MS Money user from the very first edition, but 05 has just been aweful for me, I though I'd never do it but instead of going back to 04...I'm gonna switch to quicken. I'll run both for awhile and see if MS Money gets things back together. PERMENANT SOLUTION: I'm holding a new Quicken Premier CD in my hand now, installing tonight. MTCz |

Is it something I download from microsoft? c:\windows\system32\msxml3.dll; it can be located elsewhere, but that is a typical location. The OS install provides that I think. So if you did have that location for msxml3.dll, you would do Start-> Run and enter "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msxml3.dll" without the quotes. If you do that, you should get a message that it succeeded or failed. If it fails, then try the search. Start-> Search can be used to determine the location. |
