| Great, no help to me though. Why can't Microsoft just offer us a better solution than to just wait for someone to hopefully provide a DG written answer to this problem. I am think of switching to Quicken. "Dave Russell" wrote: - quote - > I am having the exact same problem with Money 2005, only with different > figures. | I am having the exact same problem with Money 2005, only with different figures. When the amount for the one time payment is $0, a message says that it has applied my $.55 payment to my debt. The plan then shows a one time payment of about $13,000 being applied to my debt on the next screen. | My Debt Reduction Plan (Money 2004 Dlx) is including some information that I have never added, and is creating an unrealistic 1st month payment on debt. As an example: I can put in up to $100K of debt and I want to set up a payment plan for it. If I put $900 of monthly allocation for debt, and $0 for a One-time, Extra Payment, two odd things happen. 1. Just below the Making a One-time, Extra Payment, it states, "Money has distributed your entire extra payment of $1185.00 to your debt payments. You can enter another extra payment at any time, and pay off your debt even faster." I don't know where it is pulling this $1185 figure from. 2. When I go to "View your Debt Plan" and view the payment schedule by Month, the plan has me making a fist month payment of almost $41,000.00 dollars. I can not seem to find any information to fix this. I don't know why it is doing this, as I don't have enough funds to pay $41K in one month. I have put only $1000/month toward the debt, with no extra payment. Any help? Thanks, Wesley |
