| Brian, What gives is that American Funds supports Quicken but not Money. I wouldn't get too excited though. American Funds support of Quicken requires that each fund you own be set up as a separate account within Quicken! Not a very realistic scenario. Just create an account in Money 2005 for each of your American Funds accounts (not funds). Enter your fund investments either during or after account setup making sure to provide the correct fund symbol where prompted. I guarantee you that each time you open Money 2005, your fund prices, and therefore your account balance(s), will be updated. As you execute future transactions in your funds, manually enter them into your account(s) within Money. Alternately, you can do this upon receipt of your periodic statements. I think even if I used Quicken I would do it this way! Regards, JB Brian McNamara wrote: - quote - > I own Money 2005. > I have an account at American Funds financiali institution. You can switch, or enter your data manually-- perhaps annually.> I have an account at American Funds financiali institution. Money will track the current fund prices if you enter the fund symbols. Fidelity, Vanguard and others provide direct statements to Money. |
