Select OFX-- Open Financial Exchange File . Click Advanced. Check Confirm Open After Download unless you would not like the pop-up box. See that the "Actions" box contains "Open" in bold. If it is not bold, you can select Open as the default action by clicking the Set Default button. Click Edit. When you click edit, the application used to perform action should be the following line: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money 2004\System\mnyimprt.exe" %1 WITH the quotes, and the %1 after the quote. The path will differ based on your installation. Modify for your setup. Application should be mnyimprt with the appropriate path. The easy way to fix this may be to reinstall Money. |

| Hi, been using Money 2004 for 18 months or so now, been downloading HSBC current and credit card accounts using OFX for the same amount of time without problem. Then suddenly last week it stopped working: 1. If money is running - the new data is not imported with me then having to accept the transaction 2. If money is not running, the PC would normally ask me to load money or did I want the new data to be imported the next time money was opened - no longer do I get this message In both instances the Browser (IE6) running the HSBC app seems to think all is well - clearly this is not the case. Temporarily (I hope) I can work round by downloading the data as .qif and then importing. Computer is running XP Home - I wonder if it is one of Microsoft's security updates that is causing the problem ?? |
